Led by Brian Bahr, Goodwin Knight has some of the most experienced multi-family and commercial development leaders in the business. Each brings their unique background and expertise to bear on projects to make each and every one a success. Below are their brief bios.

BRIAN BAHR
CHAIRMAN & CEO
Since its inception, Challenger Homes and The Challenger Group have built 3,000+ homes throughout the region, thousands of square feet of office space, and completed a number of multi-family projects. During that time, he has also served as a board member and past president for the Pikes Peak Council of the Boy Scouts of America, volunteered his time in helping numerous individuals in hardship, and continues to be a loving and caring family man.
He enjoys spending time with his family, investing, football, and basketball.
Brian received his Masters of Accounting and Information Systems from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.

BRUCE PEELE
PRESIDENT
Bruce has over 30 years of experience in homebuilding and commercial development across the United States with a focus on Colorado beginning in the late 1990’s. His multi-family experience includes feasibility, underwriting, planning, finance, development, and management of over 3,000 mid-rise condominiums, apartment communities and townhomes. His experience also includes structured finance, management, and sale of over 3,500 residential lots in master-planned residential and mixed-use developments located in the southeastern United States and Colorado.
Bruce joined The Challenger Group in 2016 as CFO and assumed the senior role with Goodwin Knight as its of VP-Commercial Development in 2017 guiding the financing and eventual construction of its first communities.
He has volunteered on various charitable boards, enjoys traveling and the outdoors. Bruce received his BS in Commerce and Accounting from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.

Bryan Kniep
Vice President of Community Development
Bry has over 20 years of experience in land planning, entitlement, civil engineering, and landscape architecture working primarily throughout the western United States.
His varied experience has allowed him to work on residential, multi-family, commercial, recreational, industrial, and government facilities covering over 40,000 acres of land. Bry joined The Challenger Group in 2014 as Director of Planning and took on the role of Vice President of Development in 2018, having overseen the pre-development of all of Goodwin Knight’s past and current projects.
He spends much of his free time volunteering on various boards and organizations such as the Colorado Springs HBA, the Fountain Urban Renewal Authority, and several Metro Districts boards. He also enjoys hiking, fishing, traveling, and home renovation projects.
Bry received his Bachelors of Landscape Architecture from Utah State University in Logan, UT.

Jonathan Dron
Vice President of Accounting
Jonathan has a love for real estate. Being around the construction and real estate industry since the age of 5 Jonathan enjoys watching projects be built, but more importantly how the deal works financially.
Prior to joining Goodwin Knight in 2018 he worked for three accounting firms: PricewaterhouseCoopers, Grant Thornton and BiggsKofford specializing in the financial service industry, home building industry, online retailers and subscription business models.
Jonathan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Member of the PGA of America and an active real estate investor.
In his spare time he enjoys traveling, golfing, hiking, snow skiing, and being out on the water.
Jonathan received his MBA and BS from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs.
